Endorsement Renewal

Endorsement Renewal occurs annually. Annual renewal requirements include documentation of at least 15 hours of continuing education directly related to the Competency Guidelines for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health©. For those providing Reflective Supervision/Consultation (RS/C), at least 3 of the 15 hours of training should have addressed skills needed to provide RS/C. Participation in ongoing reflective supervision/consultation is strongly recommended for all endorsed professionals and should be recorded on the Annual Endorsement® Renewal Form.

Please complete the Annual Endorsement® Renewal Form and submit required Annual Renewal fees ($35 for Levels I & II or $50 for Levels III & IV) to renew your endorsement. Annual Renewal information and fees are due to the NMAIMH by December 31 of each year.

Endorsed members who submit their documentation after the December 31 deadline, and before March 31 (each year), must pay an additional $20 late charge. If a practitioner fails to submit annual Endorsement® renewal information and fees by March 31st of any year, s/he will be removed from the Endorsement® Registry.

If removed from the Endorsement® Registry, a practitioner must do the following to have her/his endorsement reinstated:

  • Contact the Endorsement Coordinator at endorse@nmaimh.org
  • Re-register at EASy
  • Add education, work, and in-service training and reflective supervision/consultation (RS/C) experiences that have been accrued since removal from the registry
  • Get three updated reference ratings (via EASy)
  • Pay an Endorsement Processing Fee in addition to the Annual Endorsement Renewal Fee
