Presented to the New Mexico legislature in January 2003, the strategic plan outlines six key goals: identify strengths and weaknesses in existing programs, raise awareness of infant mental health, secure funding for researching, developing, and evaluating statewide infant mental health services and programs, develop a system for ongoing support and consultation, coordinate the integration of statewide infant mental health services, and develop a system to evaluate the impact of these services.
